| Abstract | This study examines the services trade relationship between Türkiye and African countries. The study employs a quantitative descriptive methodology and analyzes secondary data obtained from TurkStat, WTO, UNCTADstat, TradeMap and the World Bank for the period 2015-2024. The findings reveal that Africa's share in Türkiye's total services exports increased from 6.2% in 2015 to 8.8% in 2024. Travel and transportation services dominate bilateral services trade, accounting for approximately 80% of Türkiye's services exports to Africa. Furthermore, Sub-Saharan Africa accounts for 50.5% of Türkiye's services exports to the continent, surpassing North Africa. The study also finds a positive relationship between infrastructure quality, policy engagement and services trade volume. The results highlight Africa's growing importance within Türkiye's international services trade strategy. |
