| Abstract | The emergence of flexible work arrangements, digital platforms, and collaborative business ecosystems has transformed traditional employment relationships, giving rise to innovative workforce models such as employee sharing. In the Business-to-Business (B2B) employee sharing model, organizations collaborate by temporarily sharing skilled employees to address fluctuating workforce demands, optimize resource utilization, and enhance organizational agility. This model has gained increasing relevance in the present era, characterized by rapid technological advancement, economic uncertainty, talent shortages, and evolving employee expectations. The study explores the concept, structure, benefits, challenges, and strategic implications of B2B employee sharing for contemporary Human Resource Management (HRM). Using a conceptual and descriptive research approach based on an extensive review of recent academic literature, industry reports, and organizational practices, the paper examines how employee sharing influences key HR functions, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, training and development, performance management, compensation, employee engagement, legal compliance, and organizational culture. The analysis indicates that employee sharing enables organizations to improve workforce flexibility, reduce recruitment and labor costs, enhance employee skill development, and strengthen business resilience. However, successful implementation requires robust governance mechanisms, transparent contractual arrangements, effective communication, data security measures, and compliance with labor laws and ethical standards. The paper proposes a conceptual framework illustrating the interrelationship between B2B employee sharing practices and strategic HR outcomes, emphasizing the role of HR professionals as facilitators of inter-organizational collaboration. The findings contribute to the emerging discourse on shared employment models by providing insights into their strategic value and managerial implications in the contemporary business environment. The study concludes that B2B employee sharing represents a sustainable and innovative workforce strategy capable of supporting organizational competitiveness while fostering employee employability and long-term business collaboration. |
