| Abstract | The early routes of human migrations were not well defined. Most of the migration was on foot taking river courses and mountain ridges. The legends and traditions of the Adi tribe of Siang River basin, how ever tell a different stories of migrations. Almost all tribes of Arunachal Pradesh trace the courses of their migrations to the present settlements to be from north. Thus, present search is a humble attempt to understand and document the role of geo-environmental aspects in the early migration of Adi tribe of Siang River Basin of Arunachal Pradesh, India. |
