Abstract This paper attempts to assess how consumer’s trust and their perceptions are shaped by the content they consume, it tries to investigate what sentiments are espoused by AI generated content against how do potential consumers feel about human centric marketing campaigns, considering that no brands/platforms/organizations are keeping digital record of whoever visits their website or downloads their applications, this investigation takes an intriguing turn because this inquiry also furthers into the perceived threats and ambiguity regarding not knowing how one's data is extracted and utilized, while it avails personalization but also enables digital surveillance. This paper assesses a thematic literature review concerning the most pressing debates upon the subject, it conducts a survey amongst 150 respondents, a focus group interview amongst 20 research participants and undertakes a case study premised on the best blend of strategies for converting clicks to sales.
