Statue Of Unity: A Comprehensive Performance Analysis as A Tourist Attraction

Abstract	This study evaluates the performance of the Statue of Unity as a major tourist attraction in India using a combination of secondary data analysis in the form of visitor footfall at Statue of Unity in conjunction with the review of relevant literature to evaluate the performance of the Statue of Unity as a tourist attraction. Following PRISMA guidelines, 18 relevant studies were selected and synthesized to understand tourism trends, visitor behaviour, and economic impact. The analysis of visitor footfall from 2018 to 2024 was done which reveals strong post-pandemic recovery and sustained growth, with a CAGR of approximately 19.4% from 2021 to 2024. The findings highlight the monument’s role as a destination icon and its contribution to regional tourism development. The study also provides strategic recommendations for sustainable tourism management and improved visitor experience.
