Applications of Number Theory and Coding Theory in Artificial Intelligence

Abstract	This paper analyzes the applications of number theory and coding theory in artificial intelligence (AI). It discusses Huffman coding, the Number Theoretic Transform (NTT), Residue Number Systems (RNS), and error-correcting codes for improving computational efficiency, data compression, reliability, and security. Applications in face recognition and fake news detection are presented to demonstrate their practical relevance. The study highlights how these mathematical techniques can contribute to the development of efficient, robust, extensible, and trustworthy AI systems.
