Abstract	The transition of the language into written forms began when pioneers like Daulot Ahmed and Mohammad Umor wrote some of the earliest texts. Subsequently, Radhamohan Thakur authored a foundational grammar book titled Kokborok-ma in 1900, paving the way for the growth of modern Kokborok literature.
