| Abstract | Abstract The organised retail sector in India has witnessed remarkable transformation due to changing consumer expectations, technological advancements, and increasing competition among retailers. In metropolitan cities such as Bengaluru, retailers are increasingly adopting innovative marketing strategies to attract, engage, and retain customers. This study examines the influence of marketing practices adopted by organised retail outlets on customer satisfaction, engagement, and loyalty in Bengaluru. The research investigates the effectiveness of major retail marketing strategies, including pricing approaches, promotional initiatives, visual merchandising practices, and digital marketing activities. A mixed-method research design was adopted by integrating quantitative and qualitative approaches. Primary data were collected from 500 retail customers through a structured questionnaire and from 20 retail outlet managers through semi-structured interviews. The findings reveal that visual merchandising, strategic pricing, promotional activities, and digital marketing significantly contribute to enhancing customer experiences and satisfaction levels. Among the various marketing practices examined, visual merchandising emerged as the most influential factor in attracting customers and improving shopping experiences. The study also identifies that customer engagement indicators, service quality, and perceived value have strong associations with overall customer satisfaction. The research highlights the importance of adopting customer-centric and location-specific marketing strategies in the organised retail sector. Retail organisations need to integrate traditional retail practices with digital innovations to create seamless shopping experiences. The study provides valuable insights for retail managers, marketers, and researchers interested in understanding evolving consumer behaviour and developing effective retail strategies. |
