A Comparative Study to Evaluate the Safety and Efficacy of Gabapentin Versus Pregabalin in Neuropathic Pain

Abstract	Neuropathic pain is a chronic and debilitating condition that can substantially impair pain control, sleep, daily functioning, and quality of life. Gabapentin and pregabalin are commonly used gabapentinoids for its management; however, differences in their pharmacokinetic properties, analgesic effectiveness, tolerability, and patient-related outcomes make the choice between them clinically relevant. Therefore, comparative evaluation of their efficacy and safety is important to support individualized treatment selection in patients with neuropathic pain.
