Abstract This study focused on the financial management of teachers in Ibajay Integrated School and Naisud Elementary School. It determined the extent of loan dependence in terms of psychological and emotional, economic and financial and environmental and social as well as the relationship of these effects to the profile of the respondents. The researcher used survey research design to obtain data from the population. Respondents were composed of forty-eight teachers of Ibajay Integrated School and Twenty-two teachers of Naisud Central School which were determined through purposive sampling. The data were gathered by distributing questionnaires to the after the approval of school administrators to conduct the survey. Resources such as books, journals and articles were used as supplementary materials. The statistical tool utilized were percentage, weighted mean, chi-square and Pearson’s correlation. Findings showed that majority of the respondents graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Most of the teachers served for 6 to 10 years and 35 of them had a position of teacher 3. Participants generally receive compensation between 30,001 to 40,000 with most of them having none to one child. Among the three mentioned factors, two of them were rated as sometimes and one with rarely. It is then recommended that respondents should strengthen financial literacy, understand the value of savings, create budget plans and investments, develop awareness of the risks and adopt responsible borrowing.
