Semantic Change Detection and Persona Aware Revision of Educational Content Using  Bidirectional Vector Retrieval and LLMs

Abstract	Content in educational materials can quickly become outdated due to changes in reliable sources, necessitating ongoing manual revisions that risk introducing errors. This paper introduces a system for detecting and classifying semantic changes in educational content using structured document parsing, semantic embeddings, bidirectional vector retrieval, and LLMbased generation. The approach preserves structural integrity while identifying links to verified content and categorizing changes as Edit, Addition, Deletion, or Context Change. Revisions are generated based on a persona profile to maintain writing style, followed by human review for final approval. The prototype demonstrates an efficient end-to-end process for automatic content change detection and controlled revisions with human oversight.
