The Role of the Evolution of Education for Scheduled Castes Women in Uttarakhand.

Author(s) Mr. Deepak Kumar, Dr. Shivani Rawat
Country India
Abstract Education is an instrument of social change, empowerment, and equality. Scheduled Caste women have historically remained one of the most deprived sections of Indian society because of the combined effects of caste discrimination, poverty, gender inequality, and limited access to educational resources. In Uttarakhand, the problem becomes more complex due to rough mountainous geography, scattered settlements, economic backwardness, and unequal access to schools, especially in rural and remote areas.
Keywords Scheduled Caste women, education, Uttarakhand, literacy, social inequality, historical study.
