| Abstract | Abstract Digital media is very appealing to younger viewers since it offers instantaneous, accessible, and interactive news material, in contrast to traditional, radio, and television. The purpose of the study is to investigate patterns of digital news consumption and to examine elements that influence news consuming behavior among youths. For the present study descriptive research design is adopted and purposive sampling technique is used to select the sample. A total of 120 respondents is selected for the survey. A systematic questionnaire was used to collect primary data. To understand the results, the responses were tabulated and analyzed using digital tools, including Google Forms and spreadsheets, to identify trends and patterns. It is found from the study that digital media has a considerable impact on news consumption among respondents, particularly educated and engaged internet users. Most individuals choose mobile phones and social media platforms to get their news quickly and easily. Traditional media, such as newspapers, maintain better credibility and trust. |
