| Abstract | AI is transforming accounting by automating processes such as financial reporting, data analysis, and decision-making. It improves accounting operations by leveraging a variety of technologies such as computer vision, natural language processing, and machine learning. These systems automate data entry, tax filing, and spending tracking. Accountants use AI predictive analytics to get insights into future business performance and optimize financial strategy. Neural networks are computer models inspired by the human brain that are made up of interconnected layers of nodes, known as "neurons." These networks analyze and recognize patterns in massive datasets. In accounting, neural networks can help with tasks like fraud detection, financial forecasting, and risk assessment. . In most businesses, accounting departments employ simple software to handle financial records, which assists accountants. Artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming tax preparation and filing as technology advances. Artificial intelligence improves accuracy by automating data entry, evaluating financial information, detecting errors, and guaranteeing compliance with ever-changing tax requirements, making the process faster, more efficient, and less prone to human error. Bookkeeping automation is gaining traction in India, with AI-powered applications simplifying crucial activities like transaction classification, invoice production, and tax compliance. These AI-driven technologies are revolutionizing the accounting business, and future advances are projected to have an even greater impact. AI's ability to generate personalized information will revolutionize the construction of financial statements, including as income statements and balance sheets, making data-driven decision-making easier for stakeholders.
