Abstract This study examined the implementation, compliance, and effectiveness of the Language Identification Tool (LIT) in public schools in the Schools Division of Iloilo for the school year 2025–2026. Using a descriptive-correlational design, data were collected from 365 randomly selected teachers through stratified sampling based on Slovin’s formula. A validated questionnaire was utilized to measure the three major variables. Descriptive statistics and inferential tests, including t-test, ANOVA, and Pearson’s r at a .05 level of significance, were applied using SPSS. Findings revealed that the levels of implementation (M = 4.25), compliance (M = 4.26), and effectiveness (M = 4.22) were all very high. No significant differences were found when respondents were grouped according to sex, highest educational attainment, school size, type of school, and length of teaching experience. Moreover, no significant relationships were identified among implementation, compliance, and effectiveness. The results indicated consistent use and adherence to the LIT across respondent profiles, suggesting its stable integration in multilingual education practices.
