Effectiveness of Self-Instructional Module on Knowledge Regarding Selfitis Among Undergraduate Students at selected college at Kollam district.

Abstract Selfitis is an obsessive-compulsive desire to take photos of one’s self and post them on social media as a way to make up for the lack of self-esteem and to fill a gap in intimacy. The present study was undertaken to assess the effectiveness of self- instructional module on knowledge regarding selfitis among undergraduate students.The study was conducted among 30 undergraduate students who are studying in Holy Cross College of Nursing, Kollam, Kerala, using pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test research design who were selected using Nonprobability convenience sampling technique. Data was collected using socio-demographic data, Knowledge questionnaire and was tabulated and analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results revealed that there is significant improvement in the knowledge of Undergraduate students after the Self-Instructional Module.
