Abstract Climate plays an important role in determining the distribution and survival of plants. Changes in temperature, rainfall, and seasonal patterns can affect the growth, flowering, germination, and availability of ethnobotanical plants. Such changes may also influence agriculture, traditional plant use, and local livelihoods. Upper Siang District of Arunachal Pradesh, known for its rich biodiversity and dependence on natural resources, is an important area for studying these changes. The present study examines the impact of climate change on ethnobotanical plants and the associated traditional knowledge of local communities.
