| Abstract | Digital transformation has become a significant component of modern organizational development, influencing how employees perform tasks, communicate, make decisions, and utilize organizational resources. This study examines the influence of digital technologies, including artificial intelligence, automation, cloud computing, data analytics, enterprise resource planning systems, and digital communication platforms, on employee productivity and workplace efficiency. Using a secondary-research approach, the study synthesizes evidence from academic literature, institutional publications, organizational reports, and relevant case examples. The findings indicate that digital transformation can improve productivity through automation of routine tasks, faster access to information, enhanced collaboration, improved decision-making, and increased opportunities for innovation. It can also strengthen workplace efficiency by streamlining processes, reducing operational costs, improving resource utilization, minimizing errors, and supporting organizational adaptability. However, these benefits are not automatic and depend on employee skills, training, leadership support, organizational culture, infrastructure, and effective implementation. Challenges including employee resistance, digital fatigue, cybersecurity risks, privacy concerns, and technological complexity must also be addressed for sustainable outcomes. |
