Biomechanical Assessment of Q angle and Foot alignment In Bharatanatyam Dancers

Abstract Bharatanatyam involves repetitive footwork, stamping, turnout and sustained deep knee-flexed postures such as araimandi. These demands may influence lower-limb alignment. The present study assessed Q-angle and foot alignment in Bharatanatyam dancers using the Q-angle, Foot Posture Index-6 (FPI-6), and Navicular Drop Test (NDT).
