| Abstract | This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of warm and tepid sponging in reducing hyperthermia among children aged 1–6 years in a selected hospital in Bangalore. A quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design was used among 50 children selected through purposive sampling, with 25 children in each group. Body temperature was assessed before and after the interventions. The findings indicated that both methods were effective in reducing body temperature, with warm sponging showing a more sustained effect. |
