| Abstract | Sacroiliac joint dysfunction (SIJD) is a common but frequently under-recognized contributor to low back and pelvic girdle pain. Muscle energy technique (MET) and structured exercise therapy are both used in its conservative management, but head-to-head evidence comparing the two, with both arms receiving an identical transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) adjunct, is limited. |
| Keywords | Sacroiliac joint dysfunction; Muscle energy technique; Exercise therapy; Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation; Randomized controlled trial; Oswestry Disability Index; Lumbar range of motion; Low back pain. |
