Visitor Awareness and Self-Reported Ecotourism Practices at Bauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park, La Union

Abstract	This study is a quantitative, cross-sectional, descriptive-correlational research design that determined the level of visitor awareness and self-reported ecotourism practices at Bauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park, La Union. Specifically, it described the demographic profile of the visitors, assessed their level of visitor awareness, determined the extent of their self-reported ecotourism practices, examined the relationship between the two variables, and developed a proposed action plan to strengthen responsible ecotourism practices at the park. Data were gathered from 200 visitors who were 18 years old and above and had completed their visit to the park during the data-gathering period. A researcher-developed questionnaire was used to measure visitor awareness and self-reported ecotourism practices.
