Author(s) Mr. Ranjithkumar K, Dr. Suresh Kumar P. K.

Abstract Healthcare organizations increasingly comprise professionals from several generations working simultaneously within complex, hierarchical and rapidly changing clinical environments. Generational diversity can provide complementary knowledge, experience and perspectives, but it may also be associated with differences in workplace expectations, communication, professional socialization and perceptions of organizational support. The organizational consequences of these differences remain incompletely understood.
Keywords Generational diversity; multigenerational workforce; healthcare professionals; organizational behaviour; psychological safety; intergenerational relationships; nursing; leadership; organizational commitment; job satisfaction; India.
