Development and Evaluation of Polyherbal Formulation for Effective Hair Regrowth

Abstract	Hair loss is a common concern affecting individuals due to various factors including stress, hormonal imbalance, nutritional deficiencies and environmental conditions.Herbal ingredients have gained importance in hair care preparations because of their traditional use and potential therapeutic properties. The present study aims to formulate and evaluate a polyherbal hair oil containing Bhringraj, Jatamansi, Rosemary, Neem, Camphor, Garlic and Turmeric using Coconut oil as the base. The selected herbal ingredients are subject to TLC identification to confirm the major chemical constituents and incorporated to develop a natural hair oil with potential hair growth promoting, hair-srrengthening and scalp-protective properties. The prepared formulation will be evaluated for various physiochemical parameters including colour, odour , PH, viscosity, skin irritation test and stability studies. The study focuses on developing an economical and stable Polyherbal formulation that may help to maintain the scalp health, reduce hair fall and support hair growth.
