Abstract	ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪਹਿਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ ਰੂਪ ਜਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਸੀ ਜਾਂ ਫਿਰ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਟਕ। ਆਧੁਨਿਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿਚ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਵੇਂ ਨਾਟਕੀ ਰੂਪ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਏ। 7ਵੇਂ-8ਵੇਂ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਨਾਟ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਆਈਆਂ ਜੋ ਨਾ ਤਾਂ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਸਨ ਅਤੇ ਨਾ ਹੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਨਾਟਕ। ਜਿਸ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਕੁਝ ਵਰ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਲੋਚਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਵਿਧਾ ਵਜੋਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਨਾ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ। ਫਿਰ ਉਹ ਵੱਖਰੀ ਵਿਧਾ ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ ਵਜੋਂ ਪਰਿਭਾਸ਼ਿਤ ਹੋਈ।ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ 1913 ਈ. ਵਿਚ ਦੂਜੇ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ 7ਵੇਂ ਦਹਾਕੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ।ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ, ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਿਕਸਤ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਵਿਧਾ ਹੈ। ਬੇਸ਼ੱਕ ਇਸਦੇ ਪੂਰੇ ਨਾਟਕ ਨਾਲ ਵੀ ਕੁਝ ਅੰਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਤਬਦੀਲੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਵਿਚ ਪਰਿਵਰਤਨ ਆਉਣੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਹੀ ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ ਪੈਦਾ ਹੋਇਆ। ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਲੱਛਣਾਂ ਕਰਕੇ ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ ਆਪਣਾ ਇਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਆਧਾਰ ਸਿਰਜਦਾ ਹੈ, ਉਸ ਵਿਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਕਥਾਨਕ ਅਤੇ ਰੰਗਮੰਚ ਪੇਸ਼ਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹੈ।ਇਸ ਲਈ ਇਕਾਂਗੀ ਅਤੇ ਲਘੂ ਨਾਟਕ ਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਸੀ ਸਮਾਨਤਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸਮਾਨਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਾਹਮਣੇ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। (Earlier, the form of Punjabi Drama was either One Act Play or Full Length Play. In modern times, with the change of time, new dramatic forms emerged in Punjabi. In the 7th-8th decade, some such dramas came out which were neither full Length Play nor One Act Plays. Due to which, for the last few years, critics have started to consider such works as a separate genre from full length play and one act plays. Then that separate genre was defined as Laghu Natak. Punjabi Ekangi started in the 2nd decade in 1913 AD and Punjabi Laghu Natak begins in the 7th decade. Laghu natak is a genre that evolved from one act play. Due to the needs and changes of the time, changes began to occur in Ekangi and from Ekangi the Laghu natak was born. Due to the characteristics that create a different basis for Laghu natak, it includes the plot and stage presentation in particular. Therefore, an attempt has been made to bring out the similarities and dissimilarities between the Ekangi and the laghu natak.)
