Abstract The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit at Union Christian College in Aluva launched a literacy program based on the principles of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which include SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). The Edamalakkudy Government Tribal LP School remote tribal settlement benefited from this program through the establishment of a functional school library that was built using donated books from alumni and students.
