Abstract | ABSTRACT This project aims to optimize the physico-chemical parameters for the dissolution of Cobalt (III) in a cuprocobaltiferous ore from the Mutoshi deposit. The objective is to determine the optimal conditions of temperature and pH, under which the dissolution of cobalt occurs from the Mutoshi site, in order to establish fxed parameters for acid leaching. In relation to the objective, several tests are carried out under varying conditions, specifically the temperature (25ºc, 35ºc, and 45ºc,) and the pH of the reducer SMBS (Sodium Metabisulfite) at. 5.5, 6.0, and 6.5, white working at a temperature of 55ºc solely for cobalt.
