Abstract | Modern agriculture is transforming with the integration of artificial intelligence, particularly enhancing fields such as soil management and precision farming. Soil health is an important aspect of crop productivity which used to rely on manual sampling and diagnostics. The traditional method slacked scalability, accuracy, and efficiency to meet the growing food demand and abrupt climate changes. This study is a comparative examination of AI-based methods in agriculture, between small-scale solutions with advanced commercial-grade systems. We emphasize usability, performance, and affordability for farmers at different scales. Code snippets and dedicated sample outputs with dataset access guides are provided to demonstrate real-world applications. The results conclude that even a minimal resource cost AI setup can have up to 90% accuracy while commercial grade systems pass 95% requiring significant infrastructure and hardware cost. AI tools can bridge the gap between traditional farming, improve awareness, and enable precise interventions - paving the way from Soil to Solution. |
