| Abstract | Artificial Intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various industries, raising critical legal questions about ownership, authorship, and protection of AI-generated works. Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) frameworks, traditionally designed for human inventors and creators, face significant challenges in accommodating AI-driven innovations. This article explores the intersection of AI and IPR, analysing current legal frameworks, emerging challenges, and possible future developments. It examines global perspectives, including policies from the United States, European Union, and India, while considering the adequacy of existing laws in protecting AI-generated works and inventions. The study concludes with recommendations for legal reforms to ensure a balanced approach to innovation and protection. |
