The Smart Feedback Classifier: An AI-Based Analytics System for College Helpdesk

Abstract Today, in almost all educational institutions, one of the most important activities is to manage and effectively resolve student feedback for the sake of a controlled administrative process. Generally, the systems for feedback management in the past have suffered from slow processing, wrong sorting, and tracking that was not sufficient. One of the measures taken to address the issues mentioned above is the project "Smart Feedback Classification for College Help Desk," which entails the creation of an intelligent system that automatically sorts and forwards feedback to the relevant departments either through machine learning or rule-based algorithms. The system ensures that students can submit feedback online and that the issues will be given the right priority and assigned to the right persons. The suggested intervention lets the stakeholders know the status of the issue in real-time, quicker resolution, and application of data-driven methods to identify problems that keep coming back, eventually making the process more efficient and the students happier. By utilizing text analysis and classification algorithms, the system brings automation and intelligence to the college grievance redressal process.
