This paper examines the role of traditional Indian temples as centres of community, education, and economic activity, proposing ways to harness their potential for socio-economic empowerment. The findings of this paper contribute to the research area exploring the sustainability, economic and social benefits accrued from the spiritual economy for the future development of billion dollars Viksit Bharat.
