Abstract	The paper deals with concept of Medicinal plants .It highlights role of Medicinal Plants and Religion in life of people. It explains purpose /objectives of the paper. It describe of Religions of the world especially Major Religions i.e. Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Judaism, in brief. It discloses Holy Books such as The Bible, Quran, Vedas, Purans, Upnishads, Geeta, Tripitaka, Guru Granth Sahib, Tohra etc.) of the Major Religions of the world. It point out uses of Medicinal Plants mentioned in Holy Scriptures. It shares observations about Medicinal Plants, Holy Scriptures of Major Religions of world. Finally, it motivate to Scholars /Research Institutions/ Organizations/Governments to think for further research in said areas for more qualitative, authentic work to the best interest of people at National/International level to the service of Humanity.
