Efficiency and Effectivenes of Local E-self Governance in Andhra Pradesh

Abstract	Local self-governance in India is the management of local affairs by elected bodies—Panchayats (rural) and Municipalities (urban)—designed to foster democratic decentralization. Empowered by the 73rd and 74th Amendments (1992), these institutions handle local planning and development, representing the government closest to the people for efficient administration. These bodies are essential for implementing local development projects and fostering community engagement in governance. The paper appraises local self governance, good governance, e-governance, smart-governance and their significant and benefits.
