Abstract Objective of the study- Identification and visualization of the global trends and academic interest in hybrid work model and employee engagement.
Methodology- Bibliometric technique of review is used to understand scholarly trajectories in the field of Hybrid Work Model (HWM) and Employee Engagement (EE). Prominent databases such as Scopus and Google Scholar were accessed to capture the literature. After screening 193 articles were extracted and analysed using Biblioshiny (R studio bibliometric package).
Findings- This bibliometric analysis reveals a rapid post-2019 expansion in research on employee engagement in hybrid work, transitioning from crisis-driven studies to an emerging yet theoretically fragmented field.
Recommendation- Future research should integrate robust theoretical frameworks and longitudinal approaches to examine hybrid work as a sustained work model and uncover the mechanisms driving employee engagement across contexts.
