| Abstract | The Faculty Mental Health Assessment Tool – Expanded (FMHAT-Plus) is a structured, theory-based instrument developed to assess, monitor, and strengthen the mental health and well-being of higher education faculty. It extends beyond the scope of traditional workplace wellness surveys by incorporating multiple domains that reflect the unique pressures of the academic profession. These include emotional well-being, occupational stress, resilience and coping, social connectedness, physical well-being and lifestyle, professional identity and satisfaction, and institutional trust and support. |
