Generational Learning Disparities: Bridging the Gap Between Gen Z Aptitude and Traditional Pedagogies

Abstract This study investigates the Gen Z learners learning disparities and traditional pedagogic practices. This study seeks to identify effective pedagogical alternatives that align with the cognitive traits of contemporary learners. Utilizing a mixed-methods descriptive survey, data were gathered from 200 undergraduate students and 50 higher education teachers in Kerala, India, focusing on their engagement with technology-integrated practices and generative AI.To address these disparities, the research advocates for the adoption of an AI Ecological Education Policy framework that integrates pedagogical, governance, and operational dimensions .
