| Abstract | Social environments play a crucial role in shaping our psyche and providing a system of signs and languages. Today, youth face an increasingly anxiety-ridden atmosphere driven by materialistic gratification and the pursuit of wealth and power. Social psychology emphasizes individualism and self-centered denial, and the home environment plays a vital role in a child's personality development. Mental health services worldwide are shifting from instrumental models to community-based and family involvement-based techniques. Social anxiety is a fear of attending social situations, interaction, and being evaluated by others, leading to symptoms like escaping group situations, self-consciousness, feelings of inadequacy, embarrassment, humiliation, and depression. A lot of factors contribute to social anxiety. In today's competitive world, success in career advancement requires overcoming both external and internal barriers. External barriers are influenced by an individual's environment and facilities, while internal barriers are influenced by personality traits. Major personality characteristics, such as aggression and anxiety, can hinder performance. High anxiety levels, often considered psychological issues, are common in fast-paced life. Understanding the home environment can help recognize the importance of personality parameters like anxiety and ego strength in the teaching professionals. |
