| Abstract | Global warming has become one of the most pressing environmental concerns of modern era with its impacts evident through increasing global temperatures, unpredictable climatic conditions and the growing occurrence of natural disasters. Human induced activities including deforestation, rapid urban expansion and the unsustainable exploitation of natural sciences have accelerated the accumulation of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere disrupting the earth's ecological balance. As a result significant environmental changes such as rising temperatures, eratic rainfall, water shortage and higher frequency of extreme weather events have become increasingly common. This research investigates the consequences and implications of global warming arising from anthropogenic environmental degradation with particular emphasis on Rohtas district in the state of Bihar. It seeks to evaluate the extent of environmental changes occurring in the region, analyse their effects on local ecosystem and human livelihoods and identify sustainable strategies for environmental conservation and climate The research is based on comprehensive review of relevant literature and analysis of environmental data to provide a better understanding of regional climate related changes and to recommend measures for promoting sustainable environmental management. |
