Role of Emotional Intelligence in EnhancingTeachers’ Effectiveness and Student Academic Success

Abstract	This study examines the role of emotional intelligence (EQ) inenhancing teachers’ effectiveness and its impact on student academicsuccess. Emotional intelligence includes the ability to understand,manage, and regulate emotions in oneself and others. In theeducational context, teachers with high EQ create supportive learningenvironments, manage classroom challenges effectively, and improvestudent engagement. The study adopts a descriptive and correlationalresearch design using questionnaire-based data collection. Findingssuggest a significant positive relationship between teachers’ emotionalintelligence and student academic performance. The study concludesthat incorporating emotional intelligence development in teachertraining can significantly enhance educational outcomes.
