Evaluation of Reliability and Mean time to Failure of Sunflower oil Extraction Plant

Abstract This study presents a comprehensive reliability analysis and mean time to failure (MTTF) evaluation of complex sunflower oil extraction plant, integrating mechanical expelling, solvent extraction, and refining subsystems. The Boolean function technique models system behaviour under exponential and Weibull failure distributions, enabling precise probabilistic reliability trends and MTTF value sensitive to failure rates, highlighting critical components.
